Team registration for the Oasis Solar Challenge will be strictly by invitation only. Applications for consideration can be submitted via the Form below.
Teams can expect daily distances of between 250 and 400 kilometres excluding loops. The challenge will take place on public roads within the Abu Dhabi region where teams will have to face the varying conditions that come along with the territory. A new route will be set out for each day ensuring a picturesque journey offered by the Arabian Desert.
The teams that consist of between 20-30 male and female members filling various roles from engineering and design through to PR and marketing, will be “linked” to a UAE university or high school. Selected students from the UAE schools will have the opportunity of being “embedded” in their linked solar team for the preparation and conduct phases of the Oasis Solar Challenge.
A city with a packed calendar, the UAE capital is home to world-famous events. Think the Formula 1™️, Etihad Airways, Abu Dhabi Grand Prix, the Sailing World Cup, HSBC Golf Championship, and more.
